There is a great deal but you can explore in the botanical gardens especially during the flower festival.

• Boating at Ooty Lake - It has become essential for every hill station to have a lake and the Ooty lake is a man made Lake that is surrounded by Green Hills and hues trees. Enjoy a pleasant boating experience here and you can also get a glimpse of the Hill palace of the Maharaja of Mysore also known as the fern Hill Palace which was built in the year 1844 to resemble the grand houses of Switzerland point.

It is a full golf course with 18 holes and it extends to almost 200 acres point.

• Visit the Doddabetta Peak - Doddabetta Peak is the highest point in Nilgiris and is the tallest peak in the surrounding areas. You can get a good glimpse of Nilgiri Hills from the observatory on the top of Doddabetta.
