Darjeeling
Darjeeling is popularly renowned as ‘Queen of Hills’ for its scenic landscapes, waterfalls, lakes, stupas, tea plantations and mountain peaks. The tourists can actively engage in lot of fascinating activites like trekking, wildlife visit, sightseeing, paragliding, mountaineering and rafting. This place is one of the best pick for eco adventurous activities in the South Asia region.

Kalimpong
Kalimpong is the famous Buddhist tourist attraction place in India. The main tourist attractions in Kalimpong are Kalimpong Science Center, Durpin and Deolo Hills, and a Buddhist monarchy Zang Dhok Palri Phodang. This beautiful monarchy is located on top of the Durpin hill. This popular town is home to foreign tourists, non-native migrants, ethnic tribes and Buddhist monks. Gangtok

Tawang

Kaziranga National Park
It is known as the homeland of one horned rhinoceros. You can take the elephant ride to explore the entire Kaziranga national park. The diversifies beauty of the wildlife is worth mentioning. Here you can even find a wide range of flora and fauna like asiatic wild buffalo, swamp deer, samber, gaur and others. It is also popular for watching the bird life.

Guwahati
If you are a shopaholic, you can shop a lot of items in Guwahati. You can visit the most popular temples over there like Maa Kamakhya Temple, Sukhleswar temple and Narbagraha temple. These temples are filled with worshippers all over the world, throughout the year. The Barapani umiam Lake is also a beautiful spot to be visited in Guwahati.

Cherrapunjee
It is the wettest part in India. You can enjoy witnessing the roaring waterfalls and the most famous ones are the Nohsngithiang falls and Nohkalikai falls. Shillong

Yumthang
It is a grassy valley with the most breath-taking views. It is covered with mountains and trees on all sides which adds beauty to the place. Here you can even find a variety of flowers like the Himalayan Yellow Poppy. The journey to Yumthang is spectacular and is definitely worth visiting.

Explore beautiful monasteries of Kalimpong- Visit the Durpin Hill from where you can view the Zong Dog Palri Fo- Brang Monastery which belongs to the Buddhist sect of Dalai Lama. You can visit viewpoints like the Pine View Point, Chitra Bhanu, Kalim temple and debo hill from where you get to see the beautiful Kalimpong. The view of Mt. Kanchenjunga is simply glorious from here. You can even witness the Teesta River. The Haat Bazaar of Kalimpong is very famous among the tourists.

Driving to Tsonmgo Lake- It is one of the most beautiful travel destination in India. Driving up to the Tsonmgo Lake is a glorious expedition early in the morning. From there you can visit Baba Harbhajan singh temple which is one of the most popular religious spot. Tashi viewpoint, naga waterfalls, Lachen chu, Lachung chu are other points that should not be missed.

Camping in Nameri- The drive to the Nameri Eco Park is a fabulous experience. You can even enjoy staying at a camp in Nameri. The Nameri National Park is also worth visiting as it is filled with a variety of flora and fauna. The ride on the jeep is very adventurous and you can even spot a few rare species of animals over here.

Visit Singlalila National Park- While on your way to Darjeeling, you will come across different varieties of striking colorful birds and animals. The famous Singlalila National Park offers diverse overwhelming and magical views of Red Panda, Barking Deer, Leopard, and unusual species of animals.

The cable car rides and the rope way rides are a special attraction which provides an aerial views of the mountains. You can try hiking and trekking to various hills but just avoid the monsoons. You can even do boating in all the major lakes in north east India.

Visit the palace ruins and waterfalls in Pelling. Enjoy doing shopping from the street shopping areas in Guwahati, Gangtok and Arunachal Pradesh. Get a sneak peak at the Tibetan Buddhism in these places. Do the outdoor adventurous sports in the snow-capped hill stations.
