The carvings mainly comprise of the pictures of hermits and sages. The temple is famous all over the world for its Dilwara styled architecture. The temples are dedicated to the Jain Tirthankaras, mainly Rilhabdevji and Shambhadevji. There is also a library known as the Gyan Bhandar library where you can get hold of the ancient manuscripts.
Kuldhara village is an interesting place to visit in Jaisalmer. It is a lovely village which has its own share of horror stories. There are many legends and myths connected to this story. Badal palace is 5-storey tower is very popular among the tourists. The entire structure is designed in the Islamic style. It does not have the common Rajputana architecture. The Badal Palace is called so because it has the appearance of a cloud. The balconies on each floor have been designed differently and attractively. This tower is frequently visited by the tourists.
Bada Bagh is basically a cenotaph which is surrounded by a garden. Any bus going to Ramgarh will drop you to Bada Bagh. The cenotaphs are built all along the hill. This Bagh was commissioned by Maharaja Jai Singh. The cenotaphs are arranged in the oldest to newest order. It depends on the position of the ruler. The great the ruler the larger their cenotaph is. Each cenotaph is designed with lots of carvings. None of the stones have faded color or changed color in all these years.
