Since both Dwarka and Somnath are places of Hindu worship, you can expect to find a lot of temples which are amazing places of interest and intricate architecture.

Dwarka Nath Temple
This Temple, also known as the Dwarkadhish temple or the Jagat mandir is a temple, as you would have guessed from its location, is dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is said that Lord Krishna was the king of Dwarka and through to its Legend, the festival of Janmashtami, which commemorates the birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great sensor in this Temple. this temple is a part of the Char Dham pilgrimage package that Hindu devotees Undertaker with at most sincerity. This speciality ranks the Dwarkadhish Temple among the great places of worship like Rameshwaram, Badrinath and puri. Adi Shankaracharya visited this temple and there is even or Memorial within the temple that is dedicated to him. this place is situated on the banks of the river Gomti and Legend says that Lord Krishna brought the river Ganga to this place as a part of one of his miracles. It is interesting to note that Dwarkadhish is the 98 Divya Desam of Vishnu.

Nageshwar Jyotirlinga
Worshipping of Lord Shiva is quite common throughout the country, but there are special temples that are designated as the enlightened or the radiant places of worship and are literally named as the Jyotirlingas. One such eminent place of worship is the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga that is situated at Jamnagar region of Gujarat. There are only 12 Jyotirlingas in the Indian subcontinent and this temple is one of them.

Ever wondered why Lord Brahma does not have a place in most of the ceremonies and in worship? It is because of the legend of this Jyotirlinga. It is mentioned in the Shiv Mahapuran that there was a conflict of power between Brahma and Vishnu, and in the divine manifestation of A pillar of light, Brahma had light that he had found the top most part of the killer. Shivam Cursed Brahma into this bane and blessed Vishnu with the words that he will be worshipped for eternity.

The temple is a Masterpiece of architecture and the very cause of the temple the note divinity in every stroke. The utterance of the Mantra Om Namah Shivaya can be heard eternally in this Temple, praising the awesomeness of Lord Shiva!

Essentially the food of Dwarka and Somnath is the food of Gujarat in itself. With its interconnections, you can only expect vegetarian food but without a compromise on the quality, taste and authenticity. some of the signature dishes of Gujarat like the Doha, the Dhokla and a lot of other vegetarian delicacies are quite famous in this region. Since Gujarat is a dry state and with the religious connotation that these places have, it is quite next to impossible to find alcohol being served in this Museum, but the cuisine makes it up with a great choice of deserts like kulfi and Ras Malai. People who visit Dwarka and Somnath for the temples in that region will not miss out on the divine morsel of food called the Prasad.

The best time to visit Somnath and Dwaraka would be pretty much is the best time to visit the entire state of Gujarat. Gujarat has a tropical climate and it lies at the Confluence of a desert and a c. This leaves the summers hot and dry but the winters are quite pleasant. From this, it is quite evident that the best time to visit Gujarat would be between the month of November and February. This is the time when you can make the best of the place and still avoid the bite of the hot sun. It is also strongly suggested that you do not visit Gujarat during the rainy season as we all know, the entire Western coast of India is quite susceptible to disruptions because of heavy rainfall.
